Bus for J2 Year End Briefing

Hellos ppls! Please pass the message to all J2's yeah bout the bus to MJC on Monday..

Bus leaves hostel at 12.30pm, departing from MJC at 5.15pm.

Don't be confused with the morning one hor. We don't have to wake up THAT early! =)

Bussing Options

Hellos ppls. I've come up with a list to see how's everyone's response bout the bus.. We might be able to use the Welfare Fund if there's enough demand.. Ooh econs! Haha..

For a 30 seater its $60 for one way and $80 for two way. 45 seater is $70 and $100 respectively.

That would be :
30 seater One Way Two ways
$2.00 $2.70
45 Seater One Way Two ways
$1.60 $2.30

If we take public transport..
5 mins waiting for 196, time to travel to Buona Vista MRT= 10min, BV MRT to Pasir Ris MRT=43 mins + waiting time ave 5 min. Pasir Ris wait for bus, 5mins. Time taken to reach MJC = 10min. Plus all those walking time, 5 mins.
Total : About 80+ mins (1hr 20 mins)
Cost : $0.45 + $0.50 + $0.45 - $0.20 (Rebate for transfer) = $1.20

So yup. Bus will probably be bout 45mins? Max one hour. (Hopefully) And don't need to walk to bus stops/Run for bus/Squeeze on MRT! Just add a bit more money only loh.. And we'll be able to eat meals in hostel so that's another way of saving money! So let's see how it goes yeah..

Do let me know by Sunday aft so that hopefully we can arrange by monday (one week's notice for the bus ppls loh)..
